JHAT.. Coffee grinder stand for Comandante C40/C60 【Honduran Mahogany】

Stand for Comandante C40/C60

A dedicated stand designed to display your Comandante beautifully.

Designed with the moments between uses in mind, the stand brings the grinder body and crank together in a balanced, uncluttered arrangement.

Honduran Mahogany

Mahogany is traditionally valued alongside walnut and teak as a fine furniture-making wood.

Ranging from light reddish brown to deeper red-brown, Honduran Mahogany is known for its warm color and elegant grain. Its workability and dimensional stability have long made it a choice for fine furniture, cabinetry, and musical instruments.

Depending on the cut and the individual piece, it may display ribbon figure: bands of alternating light and dark grain. When selecting wood, JHAT.. looks for this distinctive figure whenever possible.

As it ages, the color gradually deepens into a rich reddish brown with a gentle sheen. Watching this character develop is one of the pleasures of using mahogany over many years.

Its refined red tones and understated grain naturally complement the Comandante's design.

Finish

We use a hybrid wood finish that combines plant-based oils with a polyurethane hardener.

This finish preserves the natural texture and feel of solid wood while improving durability and resistance to everyday stains. JHAT.. chose it to balance the beauty of natural wood with the practical needs of daily use.

The finish has also passed testing in accordance with Japan's Food Sanitation Act.

About Natural Wood

JHAT.. uses solid natural wood.

Each piece has its own grain, color, and tonal variations, even within the same wood species. Small knots and distinctive grain patterns are part of the wood's natural character, which we preserve and embrace in our products.

Care & Handling

For everyday care, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, use a well-wrung damp cloth and then dry thoroughly.

Do not leave water or moisture on the surface, as this may cause staining or discoloration. Wipe away any moisture promptly.

As solid wood responds to its environment, direct sunlight, high humidity, heat, and sudden changes in temperature or humidity may cause warping or cracking. Use and store the stand in a relatively stable environment.

If scratches or wear to the finish become noticeable over time, please contact JHAT.. to discuss refinishing.
